The American Commerce Centre, ACN for short, was founded in the late 1950s by a partnership between the City of Southfield and the American Commerce Centre Development Corporation. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most diverse and beautiful nature preserves in the Midwest. The preserve is divided into several distinct areas, each with its own set of activities and attractions. Perhaps the most popular attraction at the ACN is its trails, which provide breathtaking views of the surrounding area. There are 10 different trails in total, ranging from easy walking trails to challenging mountain biking trails. Each trail can be found within the American Commerce Centre Nature Preserve, and all of them range in length from 1 mile to 6 miles.
