Attorney Gerald E. Wigod is a graduate of Michigan State University Law School (1966) and has been licensed to practice since 1967. He has extensive trial experience having tried cases throughout the state of Michigan and in Florida. Additionally, he has practiced before the State Courts, Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court and the Federal Court. He also has extensive experience practicing before many of Michigan’s state agencies.

Over the last several decades, Gerald has acquired extensive knowledge and experience handling Michigan No-Fault claims on behalf of injured plaintiffs. In that capacity, he has handled numerous complicated trials and has appeared before appellate courts, establishing favorable landmark decisions in the area of auto litigation.

Attorney Wigod has also been selected as President of his Temple, as well as being a recipient of numerous awards for community service and is a lifetime member of the NAACP.

Attorney Lawrence Falzon is a graduate of the University of Detroit, having received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Magna Cum Laude) in 1976, and his Juris Doctorate in 1979. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and has appeared before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court numerous times. He is also approved to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.

Attorney Falzon has focused his 40+ year career on No-Fault insurance law, motor vehicle negligence cases, and premises liability. While Lawrence and his firm specialize in large injury cases including death and catastrophic injury cases; every client is given the same level of consideration and attention to detail necessary for a successful conclusion to their case.

Lawrence has lectured to a variety of groups, including the Michigan Chiropractic Association and its members. He is a Wayne County Case Evaluator and an independent arbitrator. He is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.

Attorney James Ekleberry is a graduate of Wayne State University (2010) and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (2013). Licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2014, James has focused his practice on representing motor vehicle accident victims and negligence victims. James primarily litigates first party auto no-fault (PIP) claims and third party auto negligence claims. James joined the firm as a law clerk in August of 2012 and was promoted to an attorney position after obtaining his license to practice law.

James was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys in the State of Michigan by The National Trial Lawyers in 2018.

Attorney Joseph Falzon is a graduate of The University of Detroit Mercy (2010) and the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law (2016). While in law school, he focused on litigation, participating and winning both the Evidence Competition and the Advanced Evidence Competition. Joseph also received Certificates of Merit in Criminal law, Evidence, Michigan No-Fault Law, and Civil Procedure II; and, was on the Dean’s List throughout law school.

Joseph, also passionate about helping others succeed in law school, was the Teaching Assistant in both Evidence and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He continues to tutor in his spare time. Additionally he was a senior member of the National Mock Trial Team.

While in law school, Joseph received the Raymond Burr award for his excellence in Criminal Law. Before becoming licensed in Michigan in 2016, he was a law clerk with Wigod & Falzon P.C., and is experienced in personal injury.

Richard Brewer was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. He graduated from Southfield High School and after a period of Military Service, married and began raising a Family in Southfield. He attended Oakland University at night, while working full time as a steel hauler, obtaining a BA in both History and English in 1976. He then attended Detroit College of Law in the night student program, graduating with honors in 1979.

Attorney Brewer was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in May of 1980. He is also admitted to the Federal Courts in Michigan and Missouri. He has argued in the Michigan Court of Appeal and the Michigan Supreme Court, as well as the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

For 41 years, Attorney Brewer has litigated cases involving Automobile Negligence, Michigan No-Fault law, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability, Premises Liability, Motorcycle Accident claims, Trucking Accident claims, and all other personal injury claims.

He has tried approximately 300 Jury cases to conclusion, and has obtained more than 5 multimillion dollar verdicts. Additionally, he is an avid motorcyclist, firearms enthusiast, and pilot.

Richard G. Brewer

Attorney Douglas Haraszkiewicz is a graduate of Michigan State University (2011) and the Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law (2016). While in law school, he focused on litigation, winning Certificates of Merit in Research & Writing, Medical Malpractice, and Appellate Practice (Moot Court); he was also on the Dean’s List throughout law school and graduated Cum Laude.

Before joining Wigod & Falzon, P.C., Douglas spent the first five years of his practice representing insurance companies in actions arising from automobile accidents. As such, Douglas has vast knowledge concerning the policies and procedures of the insurance companies, as well as a firm grasp on insurance defense strategies, making him the ideal attorney to represent injured persons in actions against insurance companies.

Attorney Jessica Connarn graduated from Oakland University in 2013 with a biology degree.  She graduated from Cooley Law School in 2017, where she graduated Cum Laude.

She began working at Wigod & Falzon, initially, in 2017 as a law clerk and has now returned as an attorney for the firm. Before joining Wigod & Falzon, she handled family law matters, bankruptcy, and estate and trust cases.
