Attorney Lawrence Falzon is a graduate of the University of Detroit, having received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Magna Cum Laude) in 1976, and his Juris Doctorate in 1979. Since that time he has been licensed to practice law in Michigan and has appeared before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. He is also approved to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
While in law school, Lawrence was awarded membership to the University of Detroit’s Law Review. His article, Michigan No-Fault: The Rise and Fall of Socialized Negligence, was published in the Journal of Urban Law and re-published thereafter in various law journals, as well as cited extensively for many years by the Michigan Compiled Laws Annotated.
Lawrence has focused his 42 year career on No-Fault insurance law, motor vehicle negligence cases, and premises liability. While Lawrence and his firm specialize in large injury cases including death, catastrophic injury, and traumatic brain injury cases; every client is given the same level of consideration and attention to detail necessary for a successful conclusion to their case. Protecting the rights of the injured, their families, and in some cases, the doctors and medical professionals that serve these injured people, is the fundamental goal of Wigod & Falzon.
Lawrence has lectured to a variety of groups including the Michigan Chiropractic Association and its members, regarding issues of No-Fault litigation and their rights to be paid under that law. He is a Wayne County Case Evaluator and an independent arbitrator. He is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He is also the author of one published novel, and continues to compose music and produce records in the local Detroit area.
Lawrence is a Shareholder, Chairman of the Board, and Managing Partner of Wigod & Falzon, P.C.
